Wendy Wheaton is President & CEO of Wheaton Entertainment, Inc., A syndication and multi-media company, which produces and syndicates celebrity entertainment reports for television, national radio, on-line, and print.
For more than a decade, Wendy Wheaton has hosted and produced “The Hollywood Scoop,” a national show, which provides exclusive celebrity interviews, movie reviews, and behind the scene coverage at the hottest events and award shows. The Hollywood Scoop is on-line at: www.thehollywoodscoop.com and is also a sixty-second daily celebrity entertainment report, which aired in the top ten markets, and across the country. Wheaton Entertainment, Inc. also produces, “Testimonies Of Faith,” a daily gospel report and DVD, which provides words of encouragement, inspiration, and faithful testimonies, by today’s top celebrities, in Gospel, music, sports and film.
For eight years, Wendy Wheaton served as the entertainment reporter for Los Angeles leading R&B radio station, 102.3 KJLH FM (owned by singer Stevie Wonder.) With several years of entertainment experience in television, radio, film, and music, Wendy has also been featured regularly in various national magazines, as well as served as a commentator on various national television shows. She has interviewed every top celebrity, including John Travolta, Michael Jordan, Eddie Murphy, Dustin Hoffman, Will Smith, Stevie Wonder, Magic Johnson, and Patti Labelle.
Wendy began her career in Boston, as a news anchor in 1989, while simultaneously serving as Executive Producer for a half hour music program she created called “Videos In The Dark.” “Videos In The Dark” became a Boston “powerhouse” and outperformed several national television shows.
Wendy is an Alumn of the prestigious Emerson College, and also UCLA. In her spare time, she enjoys developing TV shows, writing poetry, traveling, and helping teens.
